This update covers a couple of shifts of work, all shown in the photos below. The compressor mountings have been welded in after plenty of iterative design changes. The compressors and the stand which supports the top compressor are direct from the donor loco with a couple of minor alterations to suit the revised location. The block one of the door to the cab from the engine room (former radiator corridor actually) but this makes no material difference as the new way into the engine room is through the middle door (formerly into the radiator fan compartment).
At the other end of the loco (photos below), a similar workstream saw the installation of the mountings for the exhausters.
And finally for this update the control cubicle has been sited in its new location - correct for Baby Deltics. This has meant the relocation of the doorway from the cab to the engine room from one side of the cab to the other. The exhausters are seen bolted to their new mountings with the control cubicle behind.
