The loco is back inside now following the beer festival at Barrow Hill.

Work in the last week has seen the woodwork in the no. 2 end cab being fitted. This will allow the installation of the cab droplights and quarterlights in a move towards making the loco weatherproof.

The eagle-eyed will see that the bodyside has been marked out with the location of all the apertures ready for cutting out. The yellow line, just visible in the photo below, is a datum for the horizontal position of the apertures.
