The engine was the first thing we bought, it was there before The Baby Deltic Project was a thing. Our book (copies available here) tells the story of the engine from finding it to making it run again. Seen below installed in the loco and bearing a replacement crankcase cover it waits patiently for the rest of the loco to be completed before being coaxed back into life one again.
